Its not just the size that matters
A lot of factors go into estimating the cost to grind a stump. The diameter of the stump. How close the tree was cut to the ground. The location of the stump and how accessible it is to our machines. Existing landscaping around the stump that must be preserved. The type of tree, hardwood vs. softwood. All of these things and more are considered when we calulate the cost.

How to measure a stump
If you want a quick idea of what it will cost, please contact us and provide us with some basic information. The first step is to get an accurate measurement of the stump. The stump diameter is determined by measureing across the widest part of the stump, including the exposed roots. Do not just measure the diameter of the cut.
Once you have this measurement contact us and provide us with as much information as possible. At that point we can give you an estimate of what the cost would be.
